Athletics

St. George Athletics is a ministry for the Orthodox faithful of our Church to achieve Orthodox fellowship through athletic activities. St. George sponsors athletic programs for its youth and hosts many athletic events, most notably it serves as host of the annual Harry Agganis Basketball Tournament in the spring.

Through our athletic programs, we strive to help our youth mature in our Christian faith by demonstrating the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and leadership-as well as fostering respect for one another.

Schedule for Program Year 2011-2012: The Boys Basketball will begin on Monday, September 26th at 5:30 p.m.
The Girls Basketball will begin on Tuesday, October 11th at 5:30 p.m.
These programs are for children ages 8 to 13.
The PEE WEE Program - for boys and girls ages 4-7 - will begin on Tuesday, October 18th at 4:30 p.m.
