St. George Parents Association - STPA

Founded in 1950, the mission of the St. George Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to uphold the Greek Orthodox religion and culture through a closer relationship between parents and teachers of the Church School and Greek School, and creates a more active and intelligent interest in both schools.

The PTA is comprised of a very active and engaged group of individuals who work tirelessly to advance the educational opportunities of the children and youth of our parish.   The PTA has been instrumental in working with the Parish Council to bring about significant improvements to the Greek School and Sunday School programs of St. George.

Annually, the P.T.A. sponsors various activities for all the children of the Church School and Greek School programs, including:  Family Fun Nights, Christmas party, Communion Breakfasts,  and the annual End of the Year Outing. In addition, the P.T.A. grants $1,000.00 scholarships to three church-going youngsters who are graduating from high school, have excelled academically have been of service to their Church and to their community.
